A Warrant of Fitness (WoF) ensures your vehicle meets safety standards

It is illegal to drive your vehicle on the road if it doesn't meet WoF requirements and if it doesn't display a valid WoF sticker. It is important that vehicles meet the required safety standards and we can help by providing an independent assessment of your car's safety.

What gets checked during a WoF?

  • Tyre condition including tread depth
  • Brake operation
  • Structural condition - rust or other damage isn't allowed in certain areas
  • Lights - are all bulbs working and headlights aligned?
  • Glazing - windscreen safe and clear
  • Windscreen washers and wipers - do they work and are they clean?
  • Doors - are they secure and do they open and close safely?
  • Safety belts - must not be faded or damaged; buckles must work properly
  • Airbags, anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control
  • Speedometer - must be working
  • Steering and suspension - must be safe, secure and effective
  • Exhaust - there must be no leaks and the exhaust must not be too loud or smokey
  • Fuel system - there must be no leaks.

Call now to book your vehicle in for a WoF inspection. If your vehicle needs repairs in order to pass the WoF, our team can take care of those for you.

Regular servicing keeps your car running smoothly and can help spot problems before they develop

A service covers features that aren’t included in a WoF. These will help you improve the life, efficiency and safety of your vehicle by minimising major and potentially avoidable repair work, helping keep you and your passengers safe and retaining the value of your car.

A service can include:

  • Engine - Test drive the car and listen for unusual sounds to make sure there aren't any rattles and flush the engine
  • Lights - Check all the lights to make sure they are working
  • Suspension and other systems - Check suspension bushes, shock absorbers, exhaust system, mounts as well as checking all filters and spark plugs, cambelts and interior
  • Radiator - inspect the radiator and radiator hoses for leaks and deterioration
  • Engine Coolant - inspect levels
  • Battery - test and assess the condition
  • Brake Fluid - inspect fluid level
  • Steering Fluid - inspect fluid level
  • Clutch Fluid - test fluid level
  • Oil - test oil level
  • Tyres - check all tyres (including spare) to make sure they are inflated to the correct pressures and top up if required
  • Emergency Kit - ensure the car jack, toolkit and spare wheel are present
  • Wiper Blades - inspect the condition and replace if necessary
  • Windscreen - check the windscreen washer level and top up if needed
  • Front Windscreen - inspect for any chips or cracks and give it a good clean
  • Full diagnostic scan - this test relies on a computer system that links to the vehicle's computer processor, sensors, and microchips, logging any problems or issues present

After this fully comprehensive service, we will test drive to ensure everything is working at full optimum and will report on any condition.

Servicing should be done at regular time or distance travelled intervals (whichever comes first) according to your vehicle handbook. Call now to book your vehicle in for a service.

Tyre puncture repairs, wheel alignment and balancing for safe driving

Tyres need to maximise their contact with the road in order to provide a good braking distance. When this is compromised by the wrong tyre pressure or an uneven tread, traction between the tyre and the road is reduced, therefore leading to an increased braking distance which is dangerous.

So if your tyres are worn, it's time to think about replacing them. We will provide you with the best tyre price in addition to delivering a premium level of service. Whether you are looking for tyres for your car, van, SUV, 4WD, or European vehicle, we can help.

From entry-level to high-performance tyres, you’ll find we are very competitively priced, offering good value for money on good brands as well as cheaper (budget) tyres for customers on a tight budget.

What Are The Benefits Of Tyre Replacement?

Minimise wear and tear on your vehicle and maximise driver and passenger comfort
Reduce wear on your tyres to increase their life and performance
Improve fuel economy
Improve handling and driving safety by reducing steering and stability problems

We can also check your tyres for nails, splits or cracks and carry out puncture repair if possible. If your tyres are repaired or replaced, we'll balance them to ensure they are properly fitted
